MSVU to introduce new indigenous tourism program
Published on : Thursday, June 9, 2022

In Nova Scotia, there’s a drive to introduce authentic Indigenous experiences in the front and centre of the tourism industry. The province rests on unyielded Mi’kmaq territory. The indigenous communities over there are in need of more travellers who would know about them and their culture. It’s something that a new program of the university is keen on introducing. This program will provide support to the Indigenous businesses and help them expanding their reach by buying digital and online tools and delivering training programs.
